SmallScapes: A Digital Catalog Built to Convert

The Challenge

SmallScapes needed more than a brochure site. Landscaping is a highly visual sale -- prospective clients want to see real patios, gardens, and hardscaping work before they'll pick up the phone -- but they also don't want to wait for a callback just to get a ballpark number. The old approach (a static photo gallery and a "call for pricing" contact form) lost visitors at exactly the moment they were most interested.

The Solution

We built a responsive content catalog organized around the way customers actually shop for landscaping work -- Patios, Gardens, and a live Estimator -- each with its own gallery and service detail, all served from a single Django Core backend with no unnecessary framework weight. The estimator lets a visitor configure their project and see a real number immediately, the same transparent-pricing philosophy ROMSITES uses on its own pricing page.

High-intent visitors -- the ones who actually finish configuring a quote -- get routed straight into an SMS-connected lead pipeline, so the sales team can follow up while interest is still warm instead of days later after a form sits in an inbox.

The Result

The finished site loads at a 99/100 PageSpeed score -- effectively instant, even on mobile connections, which matters directly for a business whose customers are often searching from a job site or their driveway, not a desk. In the client's own words:
